Volunteer

The Ladysmith Maritime Society is run solely by volunteers

We are a fun and friendly bunch who love boats and being on the water. We have activities that are sure to capture your interest, and you don’t have to own a boat to join us!

Volunteer opportunities are available in the following areas:

• Administration: Bookkeeping, membership management, social media, website - some experience expected, but training provided
• LMS Board Member: Help shape the future of LMS
• Boat Restorations: Some experience necessary, some training provided
• Event Planning and Organization: Ability or experience expected, some training provided
•  Events (no experience necessary)
  • Heritage Festival
  • Sail Past (booth only)
  • Ladysmith Days (booth only)
  • Sea Life Celebration
  • Boat Tours: Boat Skippers and deckhands.
