Row a Wooden Boat

Dreams really do come true

Imagine rowing a classic, wooden boat in the Ladysmith Harbour...

Simply head over to Manana Resort and Marina (located at 4760 Brenton-Page Road, Ladysmith) during their operating hours and sign a waiver at the marina office. You'll be provided with a map, the oars and life jackets. Each boat is equipped with everything you need for safe and fun time on the water.

Each rowboat can accommodate 1-2 passengers and is equipped with:

  • Life jackets (multiple life jackets available, in multiple sizes)
  • A buoyant heaving line - 15m long
  • A bailer/manual bilge pump
  • A sound signaling device
  • Two sets of oars
