SAILPAST 2025 Transfer Beach

Join the Ladysmith Maritime Society as we celebrate the beginning of boating season with Ladysmith Yacht Club’s SAILPAST, and get ready for a fun day at Transfer Beach!
There’ll be activities and entertainment for everyone, with a flotilla of boats, face paining, food trucks, an artisan market, information booths and live music. The Copper Canyon Band will begin the day with music starting at 10:30am.

See photos of the restoration of our heritage vessels, the Dorothy, the Rainbow Skiff, the Saravan and the Kirkegaard. Then watch our beautiful vessels as they hit the high seas!
Opening ceremonies begin at 11:00am with representatives from the government, the Royal Canadian Maritime Search and Rescue Service (RCMSAR), the Canadian Coast Guard, the Rowing Club, and various other yacht clubs on the island.
