We have 1100 feet of Visitor moorage plus overflow space, and are a popular stop for traveling boaters. Our 3000 square foot floating Welcome Centre is home to the Marina Office/registration desk and the Oyster Bay Café (seasonally). It also provides free WiFi, washrooms, three showers, laundry facilities, plus a fireside lounge with a large TV, large meeting room upstairs.

Visiting boaters enjoy low rates of $1.40 per foot for the first night (as of April 1, 2018) and $1.10 per foot for each subsequent night in the same season. Reservations are highly recommended as our popularity has exploded!

Once in Ladysmith, take the highway exit marked Transfer Beach, towards the waterfront (Roberts Street becomes Transfer Beach Road on the water side of the highway). Turn left just after the railway tracks onto the gravel road, which is Oyster Bay Drive. Continue approximately 300 meters until you see the large blue building; affectionately referred to by the locals as the “Expo Building.” Watch for signs pointing you to the Marina and Oyster Bay Café.

The Nanaimo Airport is a 10 minute drive north of Ladysmith and the Community Marina, along the Island Highway.
