Thousands of people have enjoyed a 90-minute cruise, listening to stories of the local history, viewing eagles, seals, otters, cormorants, starfish, jellyfish and other wildlife along the way. As part of the fun, your Skipper will take you to where you can “Cross the Line” … the 49th Parallel that is. Don’t forget to stop in at the Marina Office to purchase your T-shirt to prove it!

We invite community groups and classes from local schools to come down to the Marina for FREE heritage field trips.

Educational materials on the local oyster industry, including a teachers guide booklet, and student kit projects are being prepared including a book titled, “Mom Was An Oyster Farmer.”

The LMS Community Marina is close to many of Ladysmith’s attractions, including Transfer Beach Park, which is just a short walk away.

Downtown Ladysmith is a 10-minute walk from the Marina where you’ll discover a wide variety of cafés, pubs, shops and services.
