Our Festival will once again highlight Ladysmith's heritage on the sea and we will feature our restored heritage boats - along with educational, commercial, and food booths. Of course, we will keep our main theme of Pirates and Rogues as we host the festival for the community. There will again be free entertainment for people of all ages, kids' events, a webcam to view the Purple Martins nesting at our docks, free harbour tours, sailing demonstrations and other special events.

Our operations through the year provide much of the base funding for this annual Ladysmith Maritime Festival but we also depend on businesses and associations in our community to help with financial and other contributions to make this Festival better each year. It is very important in the next few years to continue to encourage tourism and a strong sense of community through the use of Community Festivals. We have in the past been very grateful for community contributions' of money and volunteers and we would very much appreciate it if you would join us for this upcoming Festival.

We will recognize our sponsors using three categories of sponsorship:

• Sponsors who contribute $1000 or more will be recognized on site, on our street banner, on our website, and in our program and print materials with a logo and name.

• Sponsors who contribute $500 - $999 will be recognized on site, on our website, and in our program with a logo and name.

• Sponsors of up to $499 will be provided name recognition on site, on our website, and, where possible, on our printed materials.
